This issue of IRP Voices continues a long tradition. For more than fifty years, the Institute for Retired Professionals has been an integral part of the New School. IRP members have always been encouraged to explore their unique ideas, skills and talents. As in so many previous issues, this publication showcases the remarkable abilities of our members–in prose, in poetry, in photography, and in the visual arts.
Forty-seven IRP members have contributed to this issue–many with their creative work displayed here, others as readers and judges. Our online archives include the work of many others.
Please join me in celebrating the wonderful creative efforts that appear in Voices. Many thanks to the team whose hard work allows us to present it to IRP members–and through the miracle of technology, to the wide world.
